In this position you will be responsible for the coordination, development and completion of the resident assessment process in accordance with the requirements of the Federal and State regulations as well as Company policy and procedure.
As the MDS Coordinator you will be responsible for:
The coordination of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process to ensure compliance with accuracy attestation and timely completion of resident assessments in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, OBRA and other payor program requirements.
Ensures that the assessments accurately reflect the physical, mental and psychosocial status of each resident.
Ensures accuracy of RAI to reflect optimal reimbursement for services provided Ensures appropriate documentation to report and support services provided and assessment accuracy.
Communicates effectively with other members of the interdisciplinary team.
This position requires the ability to work well with residents, families and staff.
Candidates must have:
Georgia Registered Nurse License in good standing 2-3 years of experience Good organization skills Working knowledge of the MDS and RAI Working knowledge of 3.
