Our mission is simple--we feed kids! We use a special peanut butter recipe to help children suffering from severe acute malnutrition no matter where they live.
We need your help to do this! Join us as a mixer operator.
As a mixer operator, you'll play a vital role in making our product.
You will use machines, like pumps, to move our product through different steps.
You will weigh and measure materials, ingredients, and products to ensure we're meeting specific requirements.
You'll also follow a mixing plan to make sure our products are the best they can be.
You will learn how to do other tasks like reading military time, finding and reading lot numbers, and taking samples for testing.
You will also check time and temperature charts and pressure gauges, ensure the metal detector works correctly, and write down production data on specified forms.
We care a lot about food safety.
Our mixer operators must inspect their machines before using them to ensure they're set up correctly.
You will also maintain and clean the equipment using our procedures, cleaning products, and tools.
With your help, we can make our product better and faster, which means we can help more children.
We take personal safety seriously.
That's why we give you all the necessary safety gear and require you to wear it.
We want you to feel safe while you work.
You need to be able to read, write, and do math.
You should also be able to stand for a long time and be okay with bending, reaching, squatting, climbing, pushing, pulling, and walking.
You need to be able to lift 30-50 pounds easily.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who shares our commitment to integrity and attention to detail so that we always meet food safety, legal, and quality requirements.
Because at the end of the day, we're making food for children who desperately need it, and they deserve only the best! You'll usually work 8-12 hour shifts on a set schedule.
But sometimes, we might need you to fill in for other operators and work longer hours.
Work may include nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
No matter when you work, you'll be part of a team that wants to make a difference.
