Electro-mechanical maintenance tech

Overview:
Candidates must have a good understanding of personnel and food safety as related to a food manufacturing facility.
Allergen Alert: The facility process peanuts and tree nuts.
Candidates must adhere to GMPs, PPE, FDA, SQF and applicable food safety and quality initiatives.
Candidates must be able to work at heights and work in confined spaces that may be both inside and outside and in varying temperatures, humidity, noise and other potential hazards.
Candidates must have flexibility in work schedules and be available on weekends or rotating shifts as required.
Candidates should be self-motivated with an attitude of customer service and continuous improvement.
Candidates must have experience and understanding of computer skills related to CMMS and Microsoft Office applications
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Maintain, diagnose/troubleshoot and repair a variety of electro-mechanical equipment in both processing and high speed packaging.
+ Will be required to perform line changeovers and equipment set-ups
+ Will be responsible to complete all Maintenance, Safety, Food Safety and General Training courses and documentation
+ Reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager but will also be required to follow direction of on shift production supervisor
+ Planning, parts and tools identification and executing rebuilds of existing equipment or installation of new equipment.
+ Work with automated and robotics systems, conveyors and processing equipment (i.e. roaster, mills, fillers, capper, labeller, case packer, bundle wrapper), auxiliary plant equipment such as air compressors, lighting, HVAC/Chiller units, glycol systems, truck docks, doors and general facility upkeep items.
+ Physically capable of lifting 23 kg (50 lbs) periodically
+ Fabricate parts as required/requested
+ Read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
+ Work with Machine Operators on troubleshooting equipment
+ Maintain, diagnose and repair electrical control and instrumentation
+ Replace electrical/electronic and control hardware including PLCs and HMIs
+ Set-up and calibrate various instrumentation (i.e. metal detectors, checkweighers, scales, feeders, temperature and flow transmitters
OTHER DESIRED DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Maintain, diagnose and repair PLC, HMI and ancillary controls instrumentation
+ Edit PLC/HMI software, backup programs and software, update software/hardware revisions. Rockwell Software/Factory Talk/RSView and E-net/IP to maintain, diagnose and repair E-net/IP communications systems including switches
+ Maintain, diagnose and repair interplant analog, digital and VoIP phone systems
+ Maintain, diagnose and repair plant WIFI systems
+ Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement/5S experience including Kaizen and Gemba exercises
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma and Skilled Trades technical education, preferably a Master Electrician. Some college or continued technical training preferred.
EXPERIENCE (Years/Type): Minimum of 5 years in an electrical-mechanical maintenance role preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
