Production Supervisor-PB 1

This is an supervisory position that will be responsible for the leadership of one or more production lines in one of our two facilities on this campus. This is a second shift position working daily between the hours of 3:00 PM and 11:30 PM. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations from raw materials to finish goods. The incumbent will have the responsibility to achieve safety, quality, customer service, productivity, efficiency, cost and OEE objectives through both individual and team contributions. The Supervisor provides direction, leadership, development, and support to direct reports through empowerment, teamwork, on-the-job assignments and continuous improvement initiatives. The person in this position is also responsible for providing leadership, coaching, correction, and encouragement to employees reporting to them..
Job Duties:
+ Plan and execute equipment training to insure proper maintenance and sanitation
+ Identify best practices and provide an action plan for communication and integration.
+ Audit yield loss and investigate trends to minimize/eliminate waste.
+ Facilitate cross-shift teams for process improvement initiatives, and process uniformity
+ Educate employees about production financial KPIs and impact
+ Participation in continuous improvement initiatives to insure optimized utilization.
+ Communication with Maintenance group to develop an improved PM program
+ Facilitate communication between teams to ensure effectiveness
+ Completion of production paperwork for the shift in an accurate manner
+ Development of talent on shift to encourage and reward contributors and identify talent for future leadership opportunities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
